2024 SONGWRITING CONTEST RULES!

**The 2024 Songwriting Contest is over. Congratulations to our winner, Mark Partridge! Check back in January 2025 for next year's contest!**

Anyone age 18 years or older.

 To enter, Contestants should submit an mp3 audio file of an original song as an attachment to an email, addressed to roscoepartyfarm@gmail.com, with the subject line "2024 Songwriting Contest Entry." Limit of one submission per Artist. Contestants must include the following information:

• Their full name, and name of their musical project/band, if any
• Email address
• Address (City and State)
• Phone number 
• The name of their song
• The name of any artists who played on the song
• Any other information about the song they'd like to include with their submission.

Submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 29, 2024 to be considered!

Terry and Wendy, the owners and operators of The Party Farm, will review and judge each submission based on originality, musicality, and creativity. Terry and Wendy will choose one Contest Winner and contact them via email to share the good news! 

The Contest Winner will be awarded a free recording session at The Party Farm to create a professional recording of their winning song! Prize includes: Up to 15 combined hours of recording at the Party Farm studio and editing by Terry, the Party Farm's master engineer/producer. Terry will also mix and master your track and give you the finished product (a $500+ value). The Contest Winner and their song will also be featured on the Party Farm website and social media channels!

• By submitting an entry, Contestants agree to be bound by these contest rules. 
• The Winning Contestant agrees to, upon request, submit a photo and short biography to be included in an announcement on The Party Farm website and social media channels.
• Contestants may not submit multiple entries through different bands/projects - limit one entry per Artist. 
• Contestants who do not submit an original song will be disqualified (i.e. no cover songs). 
• If the Contest Winner later chooses to release/distribute the recording of the winning song, they will include the following note: "Recorded at The Party Farm in Roscoe, NY." 
• The total combined hours of recording and editing time awarded to the Contest Winner will be 15 hours. Terry will provide the Contest Winner with an initial consultation to determine the appropriate balance of recording and editing time for the song.  
• There is no entry fee. No purchase is necessary to win. Being a client of The Party Farm will not increase your chances of winning. 
• Recording session must be scheduled by no later than September 1, 2024 at a date/time that is mutually agreeable to the Contest Winner and The Party Farm (actual date of recording session may be later than September 1, 2024).
• The Contest Winner will be responsible for providing their own transportation to and from The Party Farm for their recording session. 
• The Party Farm reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary from time to time.
